Tart Optical Enterprises Inc. (“TART”) was a small but legendary maker of eyeglass frames founded in New York City, USA in 1948. TART was founded by optical craftsman Julius Tart who owned and operated the business for 52 years, up through the year 2000 when he passed the torch to renowned licensed optician and TART co-founder. Working with Julius Tart on the TART brand for many years, they developed a very strong bond and working relationship.
